i have a clown knife thats acting funny hes about 5 inch het keeps sitting on the gravel and not moving very much i did a water change and hes still acting that way

If you list your tank parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, temperature, inhabitants of the tank, anything you've added recently), we'll be able to help better :)

i dont know the ammonia or nitrite levels but the temp is 82f i have 2 gold snails 1 golden gourami 1 black ghost knife and a clown knife and i havent added anything new to the tank yet

It would be a good idea to check those two parameters. If the other two fish aren't acting unusually, though, it might not be the problem.
How long has it been lethargic? Does it look like its belly is swollen or anything unusual like that?

his bellys big but it gets that way when he eats alot of fish i took out all the red rosys i got him im hoping that they didnt do that to him cuz i heard they are very bad to feed them to him

So this started after it ate and got a big pot belly?
Sounds like it might be a case of over-eating and/or constipation, to me.
How long has it been lethargic like this?
Are you sure that none of the other predatory fish have been picking on it? How big is the tank and how long have you had it set up?

i think he been that way for 3 or 4 days no the really dont even mess with him its a 54 gallon tan 4 foot long 1 foot wide and a foot tall and i thing i had ti set up almost a year

Well, my best guess would be that it's related to eating, if it happened after the last time it ate and it hasn't been eating since. Try offering it some boiled peas (pop a couple in the microwave with a small amount of water for about 15-20 seconds, then rinse under cold water and split them in half or mush them up a little). If it is something with digestion, that often helps - and if it's not, well, he had a nice snack. Someone who knows more about knife fish than I do might be able to give you a better answer, but that's my guess.
Don't some of those fish get to be 1-2 feet long? Big fellas.
