i have a coral banded shrimp (female) and latly she has been very aggresive towards my fish.. she was very peaceful when i first bought her about a month ago. then one day i bought a valentini puffer, not know i shouldn't put the 2 together..well the puffer started picking at her and she pretty much beat the puffer up..well i took the puffer back to the store. and after a few days she calmed back down. now she seems to be picking on my small maroon clown..and he has done nothing to her. is this normal behavor? will the shrimp hurt my fish? i was hoping someone could give me an answer..or some advice to what i should do? cause i don't want to get rid of either of them...

how do you know the maroon didn't provoke the atack before you were watching???

but it is not uncomon for these BOXING shrimp to be aggresive. thats why i never get them. i much prefer peaceful cleaners, like peppermints. (Lysamada wurdemani)
