i just bought a 180. it has a lot of driftwood with it .i need to know how the best way is to clean it . to make sure there is no parisites on it or any thing else.thanks justin

Was the tank running when you got it? Could be okay just to use right away.

yes the tank was running .but it looked like the guy had not cleaned or did a water change in about 1 year .it was nasty the water was so dirty you couldn't see the fish and they were 8 inch koi .so i want to clean it real good . thanks justin

I would just take a razor to the glass, and scrub down the wood. and make sure to rinse out the tank really well IMO
