Hi
I received my fiji live rock from liveaquara.com. Very nice rock! Anyway, the rock shipment came earlier than planned. The saltwater in the tank was aged but i hadn't mixed any new saltwater to age. I put the rock in the tank with the aged salwater yesterday and mixed up about 45 gallons of saltwater in a tub. Today the water looks bad and I want to do a water change. Would it be okay to do a water change with the new batch of saltwater that has only been allowed to age for about 12 hours or should I wait a few days to let it age first?
The water in the tank looks brown and my protein skimmer is going nuts! Any help would be appreciated. thanks!

i usually dont "age" my water unless i'm prevented from finishing a water change. I make it at the right temp and put it in.

thanks! I was worried there for a second. I'm trying to keep as much alive on the rock as possible. I did the water change and everything looks good. thanks!

Dear TAZ3503

Our felicitations.
But I excel that in the appetizing time if the rock is being washed with the water before you places her in the tank wherefore the reason is like the swan of change of water at your home in the tank.

In all seriousness Ahmad, please understand that you are not forming cohesive sentences. Your post does not make sense.
