Here is a simple one,How often do you Feed Your Fish

Upstairs tanks: Feeding in Am 20 minutes for before tank lights go out.

-shrimp pellets
-algae tabs
-omega one flakes
-omega one cichlid pellets
-NLS small fish

Downstairs: Feeding in the PM a few hours after the lights go on.

-freeze dried worms/shrimp
-hikari cichlid pellets
-shrimp pellets

Occasionally peas, if that's what I'm having for dinner. Also frozen every two weeks or so.

Once a day. Flakes, pellets and algae wafers in the evening before the lights go out. On weekends I'll give them an extra dose of flakes in the morning.

Twice a week I will substitute with a thawed cube of blood worms and brine shrimp.

Veggies usually once a week for the clown plecs.

I feed them every other day - varied diet of blood worms, glass worms, flakes, dafnia. I was doing every day but they seem to do well with every other day and the water quality remains better till the weekend changes.
20 gall. fw
10 gallon fw
37 gall sw

I feed my fish twice a day except Saturday.
They get two cubes of frozen bloodworms every morning with the lights off (around 5am before I leave for work) and one cube around dinner time with the lights on.
On Friday nights's I toss in 24 feeder guppies instead of the bloodworm's. On Saturday evening I toss in one cube of bloodworms. About 2-3 times a week I'll add a small algae wafer as well.

Last year when we went on vacation for four days I fed then two cubes each feeding for a day then added in 3 dozen feeder guppies. When we returned four days later I fed them a cube right away then started with the normal schedule the next day. All fish were fine.

Does anyone know how long they can go without feeding? This year we may be gone about 7 days. I am not sure if I should have a friend stop by and feed them or just fatten them up a day or two before we leave.

I feed every morning at about 7:20 am (mainly flake, except the fry which get microworm or liquifry) just before leaving for work (except for some tanks in winter where it's just too dark still), then at least once in the evening, with flake and some form of pellet food or frozen bloodworm (four types of pellets rotated and/or mixed).

Adult fish should be fine for up to 10 days- just make sure they're well fed for the week or so before you leave; with young fish or fry then I don't like to leave mine more than 24 hours as they need food much more regularly.

Twice a day. Once in the morning and again at night.

depends on the tank.. breeding pairs get fed 2X daily discus fed 3X daily(small meals)

Thanks.

I don't have any fry. The youngest fish are my two Leopard Bushfish and they are around 1 year or more old.

Once a day in the evening. Flake all except one day a week. That day they get either freeze dried tubifex or blood worms. Algae wafers or shrimp pellets for bottom feeders.
