Here`s Willy

Thanks for the replies!!!
He gets reptomin, crickets, worms, krill, fresh chicken and hamburger. Everything but the reptomin are given sparingly as treats. He has a cuttle bone for calcium.
I have a background on the tank, may give an illusion that there is more in the tank than there is.
I`m running 2 filters, a nano pump for circulation and the water gets changed weekly. He`s 1 spoiled turtle:grinyes:

The diet sounds pretty good but I would ax the chicken and hamburger. They're digestive system is really not designed to break down avian and mammal protiens. Try thawed shrimp instead. I feed it to my turtles and they go nuts for it. :)

Thanks vicious, I`ll remove those 2 items from his diet. Could I use tuna in the can also? I`ll try to get some shrimp today!!!

Ehhh.....canned tuna fish is ok to give as a treat on rare occasions or to stimulate a turtle’s appetite that doesn't want to eat but it should not become a main part of the diet. Too many preservatives and other things are added to it. You can try thawed fish filets instead if you'd like.

Plants also make up part of their diet as they get older. You can add some floating water plants like Water Lettuce to the tank. He might nibble on them when he feels like it.
