Can I ask what their like as a fish? I have a tank I'm looking for a single fish for, and have always admired CAE's, but people seem to continually bag em out, and I haven't managed to find much other then negative feedback about em...
They do a decent job at cleaning up uneaten food as they get older.
Unfortunately, they also do a good job of sucking the life out of fish sometimes, too.
I've had mine for just over a year and he's a pain in the *** with my other fish. I can't keep him with any slower/larger fish because he chases them constantly.
