heres my review on Aquadise...

I was worried all weekend after reading this thread, but I got my plants today and I'm pleased. I received some extras and I think they held up well considering they spent almost a week stuffed in plastic bags inside a cardboard box. As to whether I got what I ordered, I can't say for sure, being new to aquatic plants, but I received extras of the two that I recognize.

I ordered from Aquadise also, Ill post pics when they get here ( a say or so). Never dealt with them before, but we'll see.:cool2:

My order came in, I was nervous about it but all the plants look great and I have already placed another order 8) Michelle

hey Feemia, is that one of those plant packages? Did they come in that bucket?

No and nope. I just ordered a variety of easy plants. The bucket is a "pop up aquarium" which I also got from ebay. I thought it would be handy as a spare quarantine tank and also in case I need to bring any fish or plants from my husband's pond inside for the winter.

even withg the upgrade in shipping it took 4 days, I ordered them on thursday and he didnt ship 'em until that following monday

If he shipped on Friday, your plants would of been delayed with no mail on Sunday. Would you rather have your plants out one day extra risking them getting fried?

It may seem like I'm the defense here for aquadise, and you can say i am. I've had an online business before, so I understand where they are coming from, having people always complaining, no one is ever satisfied. Aquadise is a good business, patience is the only thing it appears people are not willing to have.

yea that makes sence, I'm not really trying to complain i'm just tryin to let people know before they buy....maybe that can be considered complaining!

:bday: Ok, here it is. I just got my plants today some downoi and an echino sp. rose. THe only gripe i have is the communication end of things, but other than that plain and simple: the plants are in great condition considering they spent 2 extra days at the post office for some reason? Anyways, good product, exactly what was pictured.

I got in my plants on Wednesday. The crypts were appropriately melted in to a nearly unrecognizable green goo as they tend to do, so I'm not sure if they have the rippled leaves of wenditii or not and I won't know until my trio of mushy stumps start to sprout in what... 2-3 weeks? Something like that?

The anubias coffe was smaller than I had anticipated, so I'll have to buy more. The leaves looked battered, but the rhizome and the roots were solid and healthy. My snails have managed to break two of my leaves tho. Darn them. :P

My freebies appear to be ludwigia repens, aka creeping red ludwigia!! He sent me 8 stems' worth of it. Unfortunately, my tank doesn't have the rich soil or 'medium' lighting repens prefers, so I may lose them in a month or two.

I have no extra money available for the next couple of months, so I can't invest in better lighting or ferts for the creeping red. That, and my LFS and Wal-Mart don't carry any wattage larger than 11 for the size I'd be needing. >__< Oh well. Can't afford any special orders any time soon.

I'm moderately pleased with the shipment. Other than the unrecognizable crypts, I'm sure I got what I ordered and a pleasant surprise. I was wanting a red-toned plant. We'll see if it survives the 'tough love'. ^__^;;

I'll post pics next Thursday (because it's the only spare chance I'll have to do so).
