Here's why they should ban chainlink fences.

is your area a NORMAL flood area? with swamps and wetlands and such? if so.. yes. you're asking for it.

i didnt say ALL flooded areas are like that.. heck, it floods here in oklahoma on occasion..

i'm talking about regions that are PRONE to flooding, areas that WOULD be flooded, if it wasnt for man-made structures keeping the water out.

I am not a big fan of chain link fences. Not because of this fish picture, but many kids and animals have been hurt by chain link fences.

As for the fish, if it was really stuck in the fence, it would have died anyway. It would have landed on land without the fence, and would have died from being out of the water.

The hurricane was to blame for fish deaths, not fences.

During the hurricane that fence was underwater, and when those poor fish tried to swim away, they were caught in the fence. Had it not been for that fence, those fish might have been able to make their way back home when the water receded... Those fences need to be BANNED, and banned NOW!



BTW...I am just kidding. I don't really want to ban chainlink fences. I thought the picture was interesting, and the thread would be a way for me to poke a little fun at those folks who want to legislate every little thing. :thud:
