Hermit crab molting?

I've found 2 electric blue hermit crab 'corpses' over the last week but I have lost no hermits. Is there anything I need to know about the molting and is there any precaution I can take to make sure nothing 'bad' is happening to my crabs while they are in this process?

make sure to have plenty of larger shells for them. i have noticed that mine like to move to a bigger shell after they molt 2 or 3 times.

One of them did move to a new shell. Moved right back out but did move.
