hermits....???

i have 2 cortez hermits and 2 blue foot hermits in my 30g for about 4 months now....

my question is....are they like regular hermits and need shells available in case they out grow their current home?

Yes, different size shells will allow them to grow. With out them they will die.

The cortez hermits stay smallish (at least I'm pretty sure they do, thats the kind I have) but they do like to change up shells

yeah, i'd definitely have shells of various sizes/shapes available for them. if you don't they can get agressive toward each other or any snails you have in the tank. hermits can be pretty nasty, but they sure are entertaining.

yeah i like watchin them....fast lil boogers too.......i think my 2 blue foot ones where mating? they where opening to opening for about an hour and then off in their own direction they went....
