Please Please help
no i don't have the water perameters
My pleco was okay last night and now there are abrasions on him and he can't maintain himself upright ....he isn't swimming at all and when he tries to move he goes upside down

whiteish abrasions on top of him in two spots

we had a casualty in the tank a few days ago of a dwarf african frog but other than that the tank has been fine
there is a female guppy and a male betta and two tetras in the tank ...no threats

please help ... i have taken him out of the tank and put him in a holding tank

wippit says that it looks like rot
what can i add to his water to get him back please please

edit to add that this is missymoo and not wippit

missy, I'd hate to say it but I can't sugar coat it.... I honestly think it might be too late. You can try to add melafix and raise the temp but if Wippit says it doesn't look too good, I'd agree with him...... sorry sweetie... my fingers are crossed though......but my suspicions are strong too....

he has died

Sorry about your fish.
It seems that the "whitish" appearance of the skin, along with sluggishness and swimming problems, are the symptoms seen immediately preceeding the death of this type of fish.
Nothing can be done to save them at that point.
