hehehehe...... it makes some people more curious, Knife...... kinda like telling the mouse not to eat the cheese, yet you place it right in front of him ;)

It's more like setting a mouse trap, then explaining to the mouse how it works and walking away.

The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese ;)

OG,

I agree, no problem. His website is one darn picture away from being rated "G"! :o

I've noticed a couple of similarities, and now I just have to ask....

Timmain, that other website you are referring to, is it TBF?

No, it's TW. The most wretched hive of scum and villany in the galaxy.

FLK..interesting thing about how that bike/midlife crisis thing seems to work.
There are several guys in our neighborhood in our age group that have gotten bikes. My husband had one for years when younger, and got rid of it when determined couldn't strap carseat to it. We had 2 cars, all he had to do was park it. I've asked him if he wants to get another..he says no...his back would hurt..he just wouldn't ride it.

Michelle,

I've been riding bikes since I was 6 and have owned one just about all my life. (First wife/divorce interupted it for few years)
Living here in FL, it's a great form of year round transportation for quick trips and going places without bringing the family along. I'm very happy with the bike I have now. It handles great and has more power than I'll ever need. It's just that those V8 powered monsters on my friends site are kind of calling to me :D
A lot of riders give up riding for various reasons. I respect that. One thing you don't want to do is ride if your heart and mind isn't into it and focused on it. Back pain would sure make it tough for me to focus on the ride.

Maybe you have told me about your bike - but I forgot.. What do you have?? As you can tell I have the 2004 Yamaha Vmax (4 cylinder 1200cc). It's a 'blast'! :D

I have an 02 Buell X1 White Lightning Edtion. I bought in new in late 03. I was just at the Suzuki shop and will probably be upgrading in the next month or so. The Buell is a lot of fun around town but any longer trips or Daytona is BRUTAL :(

Joe,

Is wanting a bike like that the start of a mid life crisis??? :o
If it is I had my midlife crisis when I was 12 years old. I think the reason you don't see more younger guys riding is the cost. Not that its all that expensive where a vehicle is concerned, but as a toy.......
