:drool: ok so here goes i promised i would do a food thread dealing with the types of food that im doing here for specials and here it is
:22_yikes: so many times when people came up last semester and saw the food specials they would do what the smiley is doing
now that i have the whole place to myself :dance: i have some crazy stuff in mind
the base menu we have is this soup(whatever takes my fancy) today was brocolli creme and back bacon red pepper , pasta salad(a garlic balsamic creme based), spinach salad with vegan marinated veggies the herbed vinegrette creme dressing shredded cheese an egg, caesar salad with my special dressing and lemon sesame and parm herb on top, grecian salad my version of greek no olives and a balsamic must vinegrette , the subs are being changed to go on ancient grains bread hero sub -black forest ham deli salami spinach tomato real cheddar (i refuse to use process chesse) a sweet cream spread and my honey dijon mustard, chicken parm oven roasted chicken breast with tomato spinach real shred white cheeses my herb tomato sauce and the sweet cream , ham an cheese black forest ham the white an cheddar cheeses the sweet cream an mustard an tomato slices , the classic chicken caesar wrap with a twist, vegan wrap a veggie mix that i change up everytime i make it with the tomato sauce and spinach, wild pacific salmon wrap -pan saute' wild pacific salmon done different each time i do it with the white cheeses spinach and the vegan mix
for a special today i did a fresh ****ake/portabello mushroom saute with red onion fresh thai basil sauted in a good chardonay with a touch of parmesan tapenade and roasted red pepper feta done as a wrap with the spinach and vegan mix
i am doing a new menu twist since now i have double white boards here so on the left one i am going to do a weekly theme menu that i change as i get bored with it ie monday , tuesday etc...
when we get rocking i will also be setting up a hot table pasta salad choice for people to access
with the whole room being mine now i can do about 45 seats :dance:
the soups are always open to people to suggest
i cant promise that i will post every day though i might but at least here is the first post
one more thing i have chosen to do as much of environmental focus as i can do so we do corn silverware paper bowls cups and the my cold cups for smoothies are corn based my straws are corn based my take out bags which are coming are corn based as of right now i dont give out bags see bag the bag on youtube i give a good whole grain bread instead of crackers since they are wrapped in plastic ive even been able to source saran wrap that is corn based whoooooooot
