Yes. 100% silicone is what you should be looking for in your tank. Just make sure it doesn't have any anti-mold agents in it. It doesn't appear that it does so it should be fine.

i wouldnt do it. usually those bathroom sealants have warnings against aquarium use

It isn't a bathroom sealant. It is a window/door sealant. I'm pretty sure that is the same one I used to seal one of my tanks.

thanks, i got clear(that was the only color they had) its 100% silicone g1, thats all i know, were would it say aquarium safe?

some petsotes and superwalmarts sell aquarium selant. i would go with that stuff if i were you. thats what i use.
