I think I won the battle with my goby and pistol shrimp. I bought a 10lb bag of crushed coral rinsed it out real good and sprinkled it on top of my dsb. The water cleared up 8 hours later totally the goby looks ticked off but he can't stir up a mess and the other inhabitant's looked tickled that the water is clear again. So at least of the last 2 days my water is again pristine. Heheheheheheheehe, course I'm sure that Mr. Goby and Mr. pistol are plotting their revenge, but until they can figure out how to go about getting it, I think I am safe.

That's good news! I saw you post in GCC and was wondering how your tank looked. Weighting it down was a great idea!

The engineer goby we kicked out is now living in the display 180 at the LFS--he has lots of CC to dig in, and seems to be happy.

Well, weighting it down a tad was the only thing I could come up with, it was so milky from the goby and pistol that there was no way I was going to be able to remove either one as it was too dang cloudy to see anything at all much less chase a fish around in there. I can watch my peanut worms at night again and all my other nocternal critters, yipee
