Hey, I've been meaning to ask you, just out of curiosity, how come you named your son Charlie? Was it brought down from your dad? I'm asking cause my name is Carlo. It was supposed to be Calogero, (which is a traditional Sicilian name), brought down from my grandfather. We usually call anyone named Calogero, Charlie. I doubt that's the case, just curious though.

He was named after my late father. We found out about Sandi being pregnant not too soon after my father lost his 3 month battle with cancer.

It had devestated my entire family when my dad died. My mother just was just a mess. We decided as soon as we found out that his name would be Charles if it was a boy. We kept it from my mother throwing her all sorts of bogus names throughout the pregancy. Matthew, Rutager (Simpsons gag), Steven, Joshua....

After he was born my mother was still in the dumps and just not the same lady she use to be. Understandably. So we dropped by her house before going home and introduced her to her new grandson Charles.

It gave my mother the pick me up that she needed to start getting on with her life. Since then she has been back to the woman that I always knew. now that there was a Charlie back in her life.

To this day she spoils him rotten.
