Thankyou all for the welcome everyone is so freindly here! and thanks aquariumfish for the good advice i'd already run the filter in my old tank for a couple of weeks to help start things off in the new tank (with the already running filter) and have slowly added a few of my fish over the last week and so far everything is running at the right levels! so hopefully this will remain like this over the next couple of weeks!!
