Hi from SC

Well, still working on the stand. Between work and rebuilding my wifes Harley, (priority for obvious reasons) I try to squeeze in what time I can.... Coming along pretty nicely. Its solid oak ('cept for the floor and back - 3/4" sandply) and just put first coat of "Bombay Mahogony" stain on it by hand. I'll sand that down a little and then spray 3 coats of the same, then 2 coats of poly. The end result should give me a decent deep cherry look. No doors made yet. It is a rather simple design, nothing TOO extravagant, but I like it. I'll try to pop off a pic in the next day or so (or by this weekend - dependant on time). Maybe I'll start a new thread for this build in the Freshwater DIY area...
