HI new here from vancouver BC! SwordTails and Coolie loach

HI just finished cycling my 90 gallon tank. I have been keepings bettas for the past 6 years and my dad have been keeping some other large fish. First I do not know much about gh and kh and so on. Well on to my question.

I have not checked my gh or kh but I have checked my PH it is 6.6/6.7. I know swordtails need 7.2-8ph(gh 12-30) and coolies need 7 (gh 8). Will I be able to keep them both in my tank since they need the different GH.


One more question to Vancouver people. What are your GH and KH readings?

Then again I live in north van, most of the water comes from the capilano river. Although I' think ph varies throughout the year? maybe slightly. I haventchecked the ph out of the tap for a while......I just monitor the ph in my tank.
