Hello fellow fish enthusiast
I have querry for you What would you say is a good inch per gallon rule for Salt Water tanks
I have 4o gall salt water corner tank with 4 feather dusters and a yellow tail damel and a pygmy angel i wan to add a flame half and a clown fish will this work ?
tank have a 2ogallon sump with over sized protein skimmer

There is not a good rule based on fish size for any aquaria, much less SW. These type of rules can occassionally be applied to a specific species, but never fish at large.

For a 40, you may be able to add a clown, but the angels are likely to fight. I would aim for a medium sized clown, like a clarki. The maroon will get to big, and the smaller percula/oscellaris are likely going to be harrased by the damsel if they are too small, so get a fish that is slightly larger than the damsel is currently.

10gallons per inch... i'm sure that would work, but how about um... after 10 inches its 25gallons per everyinch more.

edit: [there really isn't a set rule, i'm joking with what i put but, i'm sure it wouldn't be a bad thing to follow... hahaha] :soda:
