I guess its standard procedure to introduce yourself here so hi everyone! 1st time ive been to these boards but Ive been keeping fish for 15 years! My current fish list is as follows:

1 Red Devil
1 Green Severum
1 Electric Yellow
1 Cobalt Blue
1 Jack Dempsey
1 Jewel Cichlid
1 Red Tail Black Shark
1 Black Shark *New*
1 CAE
1 Oscar *NEW*(Still a provisional community member)

No you are not seeing things, that list of fish have been healthy and happily living togeather for years:) All except for the new Black Shark and Oscar who is kind of an experiment and a new community member as of 24 hours ago. Unfortunatly the others are not taking so kindly to him and if they do not let up the bullying tonight, I will unfortunatly will have to remove him so he dosent get hurt:( We'll see how it goes though:) On a brighter note though the new Black Shark has worked out WONDERFULLY over the last 3 weeks and he has fit in like clockwork! Up untill a month ago I had a 13 inch Bala Shark in there as well, had him since he was little older than a fry but I gave him to a friend in anticipation of the arrival of the new Black Shark as I know how big these guys can get and was worried about overcrouding with them both in there:)

Hello,nice assortment you have there...:hi:

Welcome to AC! Nice mix you have. Got any pics you can post?

hello

Hello, Garbage. I am new to this forum also, but not the fish scene. New to the cichlid scene though.:dance2: :) I have had two 10 gallon and a 20 extra high (which would be the 30 gallon these days). The fish you have sound great together. I have 1 blue electric cichlid, 2 blue peacocks (1 male and 1 female), 2 electric yellows (1 male and 1 female), 1 upside down catfish, 1 cherry red and 1 red zebra, and to top that off 2 pink kissing gouramis, and all of our fish are doing just fine. Alot of people said that the pinks would be fish food over 2 weeks ago and they are stilling holding their own. Well hope to see some pix of your fish tank. And good luck.

Nice to meet you all! Ill definantly post some pics for you guys! Just check back in a few hours, Ill definantly get them up tonight:)

all in one tank? must be something worth seeing!

Next is the Dempsey, also about 5 inches not quite full grown:

Next I have a couple of the Severum, he's a big guy, approximatly 7 inches:

Next is the Cobalt Blue, he is about 4 inches, Im pretty sure he is maxed out too:

Next up is the Red Devil, he is another big guy, probably about 7-8 inches but not nearly fully grown yet:

Next is the little jewel cichlid, not sure what his deal is but he seems to be stuck at about 2.5 inches, maybe I got the runt of the litter? heheh:

Next is the New Black Shark, he now sits at about 4 inches, not as filled out as the RTBS yet but with a max size of 24 inches, i think he will quickly outgrow even the Devil:):

Here is a pic of the Bala shark I recently gave to a buddy, he was a good 12-13 inches, big guy!:

And last but not least, the CAE, nothing too exciting about him, just keeps to himself and cleans cleans cleans:):

And here is a shot of the entire tank, it's a 125 Gallon, currently running 3 of the biggest powerheads I could find, 6.5 ft of bubble hose, and an Eheim Professional II cannaster:)

Only one not pictured here is the Oscar, not sure if he is gonna continue to be a member of this community, he isnt holding up too well, probably take him out tonight, Its been just over a day and Ive seen every fish in the tank take a bite out of him except the CAE:( You can actually see him on the entire tank shot, he is the albino looking fish.
