Hi, signed up here a couple weeks back, got the February newsletter and I've decided to make my intro.
I'm from the UK, West Yorkshire area - not sure if theres many Brits on here.
Little background on my fish keeping experience.
Started keeping fish late 2008, small 58 litre thing, and soon after set up a little 25litre hex tank in my bedroom. Tanks were going fine for about 9 months when the 58litre bust a seal and leaked half the water on the floor (July 2009)- Mum was not happy! Had to move all the stock into the Hex, luckily I only lost 1 fish. Passed the stock on to a friend and gave up on the Hex soon after.
Now, I've picked up a nice Juwel 240 for a 'reasonable' price:woot:haven't got the light 'yet' though.
Will be setting up over the weekend and starting off The Cycle.
I won't be stocking up too much after the cycle is done because the tanks going to need moving in a couple months to change the carpet (I couldn't wait). Planned on stocking a load BN's and trying to breed them - anyone reckon this woul work without a light?
Will have plenty of Q's over the next couple weeks, keep an eye on me will yer'!
