They're definitely a pair. Got a real good look at the 'parts'. Hers is pink, blunt, and relatively fat. And I saw her actually laying them. All good on that front. The male however.. Well his tools are in order. Much smaller, and pointy. Not like a pencil tip, as I've heard it described, more like a very small quill, our the point of a very large hypodermic needle. At any rate, definitely a male. BUT the person I got them from used to have them housed with another male angel, and after these two paired up, the brawls ensued... so now my guy has a bad eye. It doesn't move around as much, and the part that isn't black (he's a marbled) looks very cloudy. he also does this weird tilted swimming thing. NOT all the time, just to turn his good eye to the surface at feeding time. He has terrible depth perception.
So I know he doesn't use his eyes to breed, but as the eggs are infertile I wonder if he is really capable. Although I didn't see him even try really, just swim around ask macho with his boy parts out.
