It's times like this that I can actually feel a bit smug about commuting on my bicycle.

I think gas prices are much better now then they were at the beginning of the summer. I paid $1.68 when i filled up my car this morning. I cant remember the last time i paid less than $1.70 a gallon for gas. On a side note i rode in a hybrid the other day and i was impressed. It was a really smooth transition from electric motor to gas engine.

It will be a cold day before i give up my gas engine though.................

Same here! And I doubt they're planning on a full size hybrid pickup truck anytime soon. I can't go camping in a sub-compact.
