High Kelvin CFL

Thanks Alan, Ill do another sweep just to be sure but I went to two Ace's in my area that I know carry GE and all they carry are the soft white variety... And none of them have that nifty side bar with the Kelvin on it...

Do you have a Menards by you? They had the biggest selection that i have seen.

I don't think they have Menards in Cali. I have never seen them. They are only in the central to mid west. We don't have them in the south either.

Unfortunately the nearest Walmart is a hundred miles away...Looks like I am going to have to buy online. Its a little scary though considering how fragile bulbs are...hope the shipping box says "Fragile" in really big font...
I have never purchased a lamp except on-line and I have never had a breakage (or other problem).

BTW you might consider 10000K lamps. I do not enjoy the yellowish tint emitted by the Daylight/6700K+/- lamps.

The 6500k that I have are white. No yellow at all.

Okay so I managed to drive to the next town and find one at Target,(found it cuz of that pic of the package! Thanks!!). $4.39 per bulb...very pricey.... but theoretically these will last me 5 years :)

Thanks for all the help everyone!!
