High Salinity Dip?

I purchased some live rock for my first SW tank that will be set up this weekend and they told me to use a "high salinity dip for about 1 minute" to rid the live rock of any hitchhikers. Can I get some specifics on exactly how to do this? What is the exact mix? I'm sure I would have to be pretty careful not to get it too high so that it wouldn't kill off all the good stuff on the rock. Any help would be great! Oh, and how long should the tank cycle before the live rock goes in? In other words, what am I looking for to be ready to put it in? I want to make sure that what I am thinking is correct! (By the way, no the live rock isn't delivered yet, they are waiting for my go-ahead for delivery) Thanks again!

A high salinity and even low salinity wont get rid of the major bad hitchhikers like Glass Anemones/Aiptasia, Mantish Shrimp and Rock Anemones/Majano, unless you wish to kill everything that makes the rock "live" Also you can put the LR directly into the aquarium right away if its cured assuming you have enough, if its uncured just drop it in and the tank will cycle.
