They also enjoy a strong current and a high oxygen level. I had one that very rarely moved away from the bubble stream caused by an airstone.
Ok so don't put them in a tropical tank... hmm was wondering that the LFS has them in with tropical fish.
ive got one in a tank thats around 76. hes never had any problems, shimmies all over the place. i didnt even realize they were cold water.
