Hillstream tank

What kind of gobies do you have? I have a 40gal high flow tank with 2 pairs of stiphodon percs. Did you find a home for the fish?

Yes, I found a home for the gobies. I had stiphodon "rainbow", the big and small size. Both were males though as the batch from the LFS was all males. Only fish I have in this tank right now is my wild caught sewellia linoelata and "spotted" groups.

Just two photos of a male "spotted":

Looks like I have 3 females and 2 males in the group. For sure 2 males but one of the suppose female, I am not quite sure yet. The alpha male of the "spotted" has been trying to breed though but no females are interested. Loaches were out eating from the glass bowl until I accidentally kicked the stand trying to pick up my lens filter and they all swam away.

Yep they are :). They're twice the size of the lineolatas.

The smaller male is getting picked on by the larger male so I may have to give him away, if no one takes the group, as the "spotted" are 2 males and 3 females. Plus the males chase around the male lineolata and I do not want the fish to be stressed. The "spotted" group did try to spawn last night but the males kept chasing each other when they saw one another so the females swam away.

Found 3 fry in the tank. Two of them have a different pattern compare to the larger fry. Might be the spotted but I have not seen the parents breed so I am not too sure. My friend may end up taking the tank, once I leave, as no one local has showed up to look at the tank. I just don't want to deal with people who do not show up and wastes my time. I'll just let the parents breed and whatever fry survives in the tank will be sold to my LFS.

Some photos of a spotted and baby assassin snails.
I thought I gave away all the sewellia fry but found two more in the tank. Then I noticed that I had about 20 or so baby assassin snails. A lot of breeding in this tank right now.

Little update on the tank:
I have one "spotted" fry so far. No photos though. Been too busy. Found tons of mixed fry in one canister. Dumped them back into the big tank to fend for themselves. I need to break down this tank soon though so I hope none survive. The baby assassin snails keep showing up in the tank even when I sell/give away a lot. Finally cleaned of pond snails though.

Hats off to you !! Thats a brilliant tank. I would love to keep hillstream loaches but Ive never seen them for sale in aquarium shops here in India. What a beautiful fish :O

Thank you! They are quite beautiful but a little expensive. I had to wait to get these from multiple importers.
You have botia loaches there. Those are quite nice too especially the botia striata.
