Hitchhiker ID help please

Red mithrax crab (aka red clinging crab). Same genus as emerald crab. Like the emerald, it's a grazer, but maybe a bit risky when larger.

Cute goby.
 
Problem is I am just starting my tank up with TBS package. What should I do with the goby? I kinda doubt he will make it through the cycle..do you think I should drop those crabs in the tank? Right now I have all the crabs that wandered off of rock and the goby in an inch or two of water in an old small tank of mine.
 
I'd get into more water than that or it probably won't do well for very long especially if you have a lot of critters in a little water. I'd fill up the tank asap and some of the critters might make it. Act fast though if you don't want to lose them. i don't know if they can take the cycle or not it won't be good for them . It would be better than staying in a couple gallons of water though!! That small volume of water will loose quality very quickly.
 
I just put some more water in their container, I plan to at least take the goby to the LFS tommorow, I wouldn't want to make him go through the cycle he's probably been through enough. As for the other crabs I'll see if they'll take them too, I'd rather not risk throwing them in my tank.
