I have one rock that has many spots where a single tentacle will emerge and feel around to feed. They are a couple inches long and pretty thin. There are 6+ of these spread around the rock. Any ideas what these might be?

Another critter I spotted looks like a 1/8th-1/4 inch skinny black slug with 2 bright red and 2 bright blueish lines running the lenght of it's body. It has 2 antenna that are as long as 1/4-1/3 the length of it's body (look like thin stalks with a ball on top). These pretty much stayed up and were not used for feeling/tasting. It appears to move like a slug/snail. Any idea what this is?

ID'd a red/black bristleworm and a Astroidea starfish today too. I'm starting to think hitchhikers might be my favorite part of this hobby (at least so far)! :grinyes:

If you can post a few pics it's always a help. First one sounds like a serpent/brittle star. Second one sounds like some kinda sea slug but not too sure.

I tried to get a pic of the slug for about 10 minutes... camera just can't get that small of a pic... either very blurry or it just looked like a spec in the sand even when he was right against the front of the tank.

The tentacles looked either light grey or light purple-ish. I could only get a look at them with a flashlight but they would retract within seconds... and again, I don't think my camera would get a decent picture of them.

I'm working on getting a better camera, but that will probably be a couple more weeks. I'll re-post after I get the pics.
