I did not want to continue taking over the "How old are you" thread, so I chose to make a new little post to continue addressing the former.

Happychem - Mostly Harmless is probably my most and least favorite book in the trilogy. I'm indecisive like that.

Spartan - I agree completely. Dry humor seems to have been lost these days. And you can't beat Douglas Adams' satire. Above all, the humor is intelligent, I think.

And for all the HHGG fans out there - did you know it's about to be a major motion picture? It's actually done filming and the release date has been set 29.04.2005 in the US and UK. The cast list is... interesting and can be found here imdb.com I'm only hoping it's got a bigger budget than the TV series did! :D

My husband got me into the Hitchhiker's books. Didn't know they are making a movie....we'll want to see that.

Might I take this opportunity to say cool avitar, Spartan. Quite fearsome!

haha , thanks, when i saw it, i had no choice but to buy it. There was just something about it that i was drawn to.
I have an assortment of creepy masks hanging on my walls. My house is full of wooden knick knacks (ranging from a rain maker, masks, containers, key holders, african chess set), mostly from Africa, but some from Australia, South east Asia.

Spartan - when I first saw the cast list all I could think was Mos Def? Who??? I'm not at all familiar with his music, but apparently I've seen several of his movies without knowing it was him.

Wonder if the American cast will be faking British accents....

Oh man.. Mos Def is well known in the underground hip hop scene, although lately hes been going more mainstream.

People say i have a dry sense of humor.
I'm a lifeguard at local pools and we a late night swim called the "twoonie swim" (2 bucks), and the lifeguards are in charge of the cash. Anyways, heres the story

Me- "That'll be two dollars please"

Patron- "OK" (hands me a five)

Me- (look into the twoonie bin and all i see are coins) "Do you mind change in all nickels?" (looks at him waiting for a reply)

Patron- Looks at me like i'm a weirdo "....uh...what?...."

Me- "...Never mind" (gave him a twoonie and a loonie and pretended nothing happened)

I don;t know if you guys think thats funny, but i sure as heck thought it was. I like to say that kind of stuff to "test" what people will do.
