hmmmm lighting

so for my 75 Im gonna do an amazonian blackwater creek biotype. i want plants but i dont like using large amounts of electricity. so i hear theres sword plants and vasillineras in this ecosystem. so maybe subdued lighting will be ok for these types of plants? im gonna use co2 and eco substrate to help them out a little. so im gonna start with low lighting maybe like 50-60 watts or somehitng then see how they do

co2 isnt going to help much in that case. get some power compact bulbs. its not really that much to run them. if you stick to low light plants try a duel t8 set up. thats at least 62w.

thanks, these low light plants you have for sale, will they grow well with this level of lighting?

For low light I would suggest from 1.5 to 2 watts per gallon.
