hey guys, i was wondering if this would be a decent idea for my 14g nano??

if so what would i put in it... i've heard live rock rubble and live sand, but what else.... saw something about macro algae but where do i find it?

Yes it would be a good idea Jay...What you put in it will depend on how big a fuge you buy...But certainly some macro algae like chaeto..You should be able to find some macro algae from a local reefer, lfs or off ebay...Chaeto i think is the best one for a small hob fuge...

haha NIKO IS MY GODD

thanks man i got one of the hagen aquaclear HOB filiters lyin around that work ok?? its really meant for i think a 30 gallon tank but that doesnt really matter does it?

Yes, that would be fine...Put some rock chunks in the bottom so that the sopepods have somewhere to live, put a little chaeto macro algae in there and it should be fine for you...At the end of the day, any area, however big, is always going to be a bonus to generate pods...

alright, throw in a couple cups of LS i assume too?

I used live sand in my AC500 fuge at first, but it got into the impeller...I just use live rock rubble now...works fine....

ok, just throw the rubble in there and fire her up??

Yes...slide the intake to the right to slow down the flow.....

ok, i got it up and running.... what is the main purpose of this btw?
