HOB wet dry

What kind of tank are you planning on setting up? I assume that filter is only good for tanks no larger than say, 55 gallons probably.

That being said, if your doing a reef style tank a Deep Sand Bed, some Live Rock/Base Rock, and some circulation will get you going fine, perhaps at some point a protien skimmer.

Wet Dry filters do contribute to high nitrates in tanks, and while they work as a filter system are certainly not the most efficient way to go.
