Holes in Healthy Echinodorus Ocelot

"Ocelot" or "Ozelot"? :)
I just got one of these, and it looks like the same problem. :(

I am talking about Ocelot - I think Ozelot has longer thinner leaves
It has fairly large leaves which start off blood red and fade to dark geen and red

There are potassium tests available, but expensive and hardly worth it. There is no competitive inhibition of other minerals from moderate to high levels of K. Untill you hit TDS-effects or actual toxicity you should be fine. Dose comparably to nitrate for sensitive plants such as certain swords and Anubias.

guys thanks very much for all of your help.
I will be adding KCl as per advice and am picking some up tonight - I will post any results and will dose as per your advice

Thanks again

When I start seeing holes, I start increasing my Potassium dosing. I use Seachem's Potassium. A lot of people have good things to say about Greg Watson's Ferts. They're cheap too! It's: http://www.gregwatson.com
