Holes in Ludwigia Leaves

Ok - Just thought I'd give some feedback here on my "Ludwigia".
Well, let me just say at the outset, that it turns out that the plant in question was not a Ludwigia. It is a Red Temple.
Anyway, I followed the instructions you all gave me, and now I have a truly gorgeous plant. It has nice big leaves, very, very red, no holes, and its a beautiful contrast to the greens.
Thanks to everybody who helped, and I'll try to get the species right next time.

Yeah, everything's looking pretty good. So good in fact that I just ordered some more plants from an online site.
I ordered a Madascar Laceplant. I've heard they are not to easy to grow. Thought I'd give it shot. I ordered some more Red Temples too. I really like those. I also ordered some Foxtail, and a Melon Sword, so I'm going to be doing some redecorating.

Thanks again

Yes, that's definitely Alternanthera. Now that you mention it, I used to have a big stand of them, but after a while they started withering away as you said yours did. At the time I didn;t clue in, I thought it was because the water was too hard. I didn't start dosing K until after, too bad. It's a gorgeous plant.
Tank looks nice BTW. I also have the same platies :) They're such fun and hardy little fish, very underrated I think.

Hi again Starry. You seem to be my mentor on this board.
I really like the Alternanthere. I've ordered some more online. I should get them in a couple days.
Yeah, I've got a lot of platys in a growout tank. I take the best looking ones and put them in this tank. I never run out of Platys and Guppies. They breed faster than I can keep up with them. I give them to several friends who have aquariums.
Sorry I couldn't get a better picture of the tank. My camera is a piece of junk.

See Ya
