DO NOT USE SOAP to clean out the tank. Any little bit left behind will kill your fish. Plain water, maybe a little vinegar, elbow grease.

Well, what do you have now for tanks, don't wanna repeat somethign you already have.

allright.....i have a little 2 gallon hex up and running with a ramshorn snail in it.....for christmas i think im getting a bare 10 gallon but now i got this i dont think my mom is going to buy it.....and i just got a 20 gallon long....i wanna take my time on this 20 gallon....i probaly will not have fish in it till late feb......so what do you suggest wippit?

gallons

someone earliar posted a message that to find out how many gallons your tank holds you divide it by 231. Will that work it out in US gallons or UK gallons? the dimentions of my tank are 24 inches tall, 24 long and 11 wide. please help

Suppose it depends on your interests... any particular type of fish you want? (cichlids, live bearers, cold water, something active, something really colorful, cobinations of any of those?)
