the guy on the left has some odd word on his hat. kaole or kadle? i doubt theyre from ohio but who knows...
i think id go with 500000-600000...Now that would be an awesome fish to have in a tank...a 5000-6000g aquarium lol

Gee morgunda I isn't sure how ta take dat one.
If you look closely, the rope is tied in a not and loops through the gill opening, no hook visible. Most noodlers use a rope for big fish they essentially run the rope in through the gill area and out through the mouth to capture the fish and help retain them. Either way I don't know for a fact that it was noodled, but most of the stories I've seen on it claim so. In addition, when people catch a fish on rod and reel they typically don't stand out in the water to hold it up for a picture. Either way it's still an awesome catch.
me and a few mates use to catch huge murray cod with hookes we made and a chicken at the end and the cod took the chicken he sucked the hook in to oh the day

but id say they cause it the same way as it would be hard to get that out from under a bank IMO look at the size of him and id say he would be a strong swimmer to have fun holding him while under water.

The blue cat and flathead cat of the US have been documented to 120 pounds each.
