Home gardening to be illegal

Jeepers, these are some crazy bills lately. I was considering a move to Canada to begin with. If these go through I may actually go through with it. Next will be our privacy, cameras everywhere. If that's not already happening and we're just unaware of it.

I'm all for making our food safer. It's long overdue.

nearly all food illnesses are caused by improper preparation before serving, improper storage by the end user, and cross-contamination by the end-user. the only reason it seems like it starts up high, is because you watch the news, and they won't show you a story about the guy who left his burgers out too long and then didn't cook them well enough.

Our food is pretty stinkin safe, esp. in comparison with the rest of the world.

Government Control.

Next thing you know they will be coming into our homes telling us what temperature we're allowed to heat/air condition to.

Maybe they'll start telling small business what hours they are allowed to be open until like they do in Amsterdam. (Well, unless you are a coffeeshop or prostitute - then you can be open for as long as you want). But seriously, clothing stores, food stores, small businesses are not allowed to be open past 6pm or for more than like 8-10 hours a day there.

Yikes! That's crazy! Only open til 6? I don't know what I'd do. I live in a big(-ish) city and the last time I lived in a little town was when I was a toddler, so I don't remember it. You can imagine my frustration when I spent the past week in small towns in the Olympic Peninsula of Washington (Port Townsend and Forks...I'd been to Port Townsend before and liked it, but went to Forks and loved it!...but anyway...) and nearly everything closed at six, and the restaurants closed at nine. What do you mean I can't go shopping until 9 or 10 or go out to eat whenever I want? (Fortunately, most of the time we were in Port Townsend for a retreat consisting of nearly 600 people, and some places had special hours for us.)

I'm all for less government. I discovered this past week that I cannot live on the west coast with all the laws they have, even though there are a few I like. I like living in the South. It's warmer too!

Next will be our privacy, cameras everywhere. If that's not already happening and we're just unaware of it.

hehe, there are cameras everywhere. and i mean e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e.
LOL

As for me, I will do what I want, when I want, and no one is going too control my life. I am responsible for my life and I intend to keep it that way! I will eat what and when I wish as well. All these government controls, move us that much closer to a socialist state and less of a free market economy. Remember to vote it is one way to make your voice heard.
