Homemade fish food?

Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. We gonna have to visit the place again one weekend. And the gardens while we are in Athens. Very nice place. :)

The catfish I'd like to have is pictus cat. It is a very pretty fish, but I heard it thinks of neon tetras as food.

I have 2 pictus cats...talk about a hyper fish. At times they are all over the place, other times they just chill out and lay on the bottom.

FAST - hard to catch them lil buggers :D

I read they can tear the net and should be caught with a cup. They have sharp fins. But they are so cute looking and hard not to like them. I saw one in the store with a copper stripe on his back. Too bad my big tank isn't cycled yet. :sad

Same here.

I cant wait to get em in my 55 GAL. More room to run. They seem happy in my 10, but they havent actually told me that. Once they get in that 55 GAL, I dont think they are gonna know what to think with all that extra room. :D

And the fins...you bet. They get caught VERY easily. Catching em in a cup is even harder.

We just bought an 80g, and waiting to put fish until we move to the new house. The less fish to move the better, especially if some of them are anything like Pictus cats. I found out that they can grow big, but never rich their normal size in the home aquarium. Another larger fish I am thinking of getting is Clown Loaches. Wonder if they get along with Pictus Cats?
