Homemade Pythons?

I really would like to have one of those python siphon things, but they are rather expensive. I was wondering if anyone had made their own python?

If I knew I wouldn't be using the gravel vac, I would have gone that route. It would probably cost me half.

the connector is like 2-3 bux. if you already have a gravel vac just buy a hose. 30 foot hose at lowes was $10 maybe less.

Yes, they do cost a bit, but they are really the trick. The large clear bell makes them much easier to use.

Now for the real trick; combine the python, waterbed siphon and a garden hose. No more PIA getting the python started, no overflowing catch bucket and wet carpet.
