homemade sump

Hey, I'm thinking about rigging up a do it yourself sump system. I thought about using a syphon to feed water into the sump under the tank stand. I'm looking for any advice or plans of homemade sumps. Let me know if you have ever made one, and tell me if you have had any luck with it.

you shoulda posted this the products or do it yourself section. a siphon would be to hard to get everything right. get a big enough sump and an overflow box.
