Help!! I have a big tank full of these guys who want to start families of their own - and our house is on the market so I need to downsize several tanks - theirs is one of the tanks that is in a place that we need to "open up" according to the realtor!! I'm having a FIRE SALE on these guys so I can empty the tank and move it out of here.

Here's the deal - mature and all colored up (beautiful powder blue with black markings - NOT to be confused with convicts - they are NOT the same species!) - ready to mate - $5.00 each OR 4 for $15 (two pair or whatever combination you want). Shipping is available from Colorado (or if you're in the Denver area, I can bring them with me next trip your way on the 6th of March).

Hurry please! I really want to move these guys and their tank out of here! Here's a pic of the dad before I sold him -

there so pretty !! weish I had the room but I only have a 29 right now with just 5 corys and a bristlenose. not sure this tank would fit 4 and be good with my cories. I like the look of them very much!

Yeah, and that's not really a good pic. Need to take another one that shows the blue better and the markings a little less dramatic (because they mostly aren't that dramatic now - it was funky lighting that day). I'll take some more pics later when I have time... I wouldn't put them with your cories - if they are like my cories, they are pretty timid and these guys are NOT timid! Glad you like them...

holy cow, your house is still on the market? you originally started downsizing, what, 8 months ago? i'm sorry. . . .

Yeah, it's been on the market since the 18th of last June! The real estate market stinks here right now, and particularly so at this time of year when we have snow piled up everywhere (VERY unusual year for us, we usually get about 16 inches the entire winter - but not THIS year!!!). I really want to get my twin 65g out of the dining room as it makes the room look too small for a family to eat in (we don't use it - we like lap trays in front of the tv!), but when you walk thru the front door you instantly see 5 large tanks and that's ALL anyone sees - they forget to look at the room per se! So they need to go!

Gee... thanks for pointing out to me how long I've been working on this downsizing :lipssealedsmilie:

Update on the pricing - the 4 for $15 will only be for "unsexed" fish. If I have to sex them, please add $10 per order as they are very hard to catch in my overly planted tank, and I have to catch so many more to get the pairs.

Hurry folks - many of these gals are carrying a bunch of eggs - and I DO NOT WANT more fish at this point in our lives - facing selling our home and moving all the tanks and fish...

And FWIW, I've had great success in shipping via Priority Mail which is a lot less than Express. I use medical grade oxygen and have had several occassions where the shipment took 4 days and the fish were fine (the 4th day would need to be in a climate that doesn't need a heat pack) - but generally speaking, it usually only takes 2-3 days for delivery.

I'M REALLY SERIOUS NOW - DRAMATIC PRICE DROP!

PRICE DROP! NEED TO MOVE THEM OUT!

New price is only $3.00 each - no sexing of them for that price though. If you need them sexed, it will be a one time charge per order, no matter the size of the order. Paypal is gladly accepted, and we ship wonderfully. We use medical grade oxygen and better shipping chemicals than Bag Buddies (Bag Buddies only last 4-6 hours). We've had shipments go to South Texas in the heat of the summer and take 4 days to arrive and all were still fine! We've shipped all over the US - both winter and summer. We care about our little wet pets, and want them to arrive safely.

PM me for shipping quotes please - and be sure to include how many fish you want, your zip code, and if you need them sexed or not - and I'll get you a quote as quickly as possible. If you need better pics that show the blue better, please let me know and I'll shoot some more.

THANKS!

SOMEBODY BUY THESE!

They are great colorful little fish, do well in community set-ups and with larger peaceful tankmates. They have wonderful personalities and are really fun to watch when they are pairing up and raising their babies.

these threads have pictures of mine so you can see the colors of the females. The males have beautiful red tails and they (or at least mine) get a blue edge around the red during breeding. You can see the females get nice pink bellies when they have eggs.

this is a fantastic price for hondurans - there is only one store in my area that sells them and they are $25 EACH for young adults. Crazy!

Thanks for the kind words about my babies! $25.00!!!!!?????? That is crazy! I'll be happy to sell them here for half that

Am I selling their tank? Yes, when all the HRP's are gone, I will be doing so. It's a smashing set up if I do say so. Twin 65 gallons (meaning two side by side on one long stand with loads of storage and all the wiring down there). The tanks both have HIGH lighting (not cheap!), and a black background on each with the same black as a divider between the tanks so the fish in each don't see each other. There's also filtration for both tanks, as well as texblast substrate with fluorite as a bonus! I think the whole package for $1200 is a steal - I got a ton of money in them.

But I just can't ship them to New York :bling: (or anywhere else for that matter)! :grinyes:
