Babies are doing good. Parents are still moving them around alot. I'm feeding BBS 3x a day but the parents are helping to feed also. I've noticed they've become messy eaters all of a sudden....spitting crushed up food out through their gills as if to feed the babies.
Anyway heres a couple more pics.

First off, I LOVE that video. It's so cute to see the babies hanging out on those little stairs. Lol. The photos are awesome also. Looks like you're doing an awesome job!! Can't wait to see more photos! :dance:
yeah that video is awesome i like it when the dad eats the babies and spits em back out on the stairs. They look like great parents.

OK the honeymoon is over I think! Looks like the male has beat up the female. Her tail is frayed and her right eye is messed up.

So what should I do? Remove her and leave him with the babies (not sure I trust him with the babies) or remove him and leave her with the babies? Any suggestions ??? :cry:

I would remove her at least, he is starting to be over protective of the fry. If in doubt though remove both of them. great job so far, great looking fish
UPDATE ON FEMALE
Well the male spent the night in a breeder net. I figured I would decide this morning what to do. I'd like to keep the fry but really she's more important to me. I set the tank up for just them and chances are I won't be able to put them together again until after the fry are gone or moved.
Anyway I turned the lights on this morning and I thought she looked better at first glance. Her color was good and her eye looked slightly better. Then I saw her tail.....WOW! It looks like pieces are falling off and the male was in a net (he looks fine by the way). So am I dealing with something else? Fin rot...cloudy eye (although the eye looked like an injury)?

Seprate the pair for awhile just take the malemout and allow the female to care for the fry. The males only job is to stand guard when he gets bored or wants to breed again aggression rises.
