How can I make/buy a hood for a small 5.5g tank? I might be keeping a frog so I want it to be air tight. I was thinking about cutting some wood but there are two problems. One it will rot, and two it dosent let enought light in. So I was thinking about glass. And came up with some problems. Getting a rectangle piece is no problem but how do I make the holes for the heater and filter? Plus isent it kinda sharp?

You can use a piece of glass with a plastic backstrip (available from most online retailers). You can cut the plastic backstrip for powercords and plumbing.
