I need a cheap 4ft 2 bulb, 80watt+ light hood. It needs to be hardy, water won't kill it and daily wiggling/moving won't break it!
I have been using regular shop lights and they can last, but others just keep breaking! They cost $10 and I just return the broken ones and get a new one every few months.
The new hood can't cost more than $50, maybe $70. Any more is ridiculous.

The only ones I see are all over $130 for the size and 2 bulbs, it's insane. It's just light, it shouldn't cost so much.

I'm wondering if I get a long glass panel and set it in the frame to cover the water, would that help the hood last longer? Also wanted to get those little metal bookshelf L bracket things..lol. And then hang the light from that...but they don't stick out far enough to do that....
I am, but rather not mess with electrics.
