That would be great for the plant
.I would tie it to a piece of driftwood or a rock. The roots will then attach the plant to the object it is tied to over time (I think it is something like six months but I am not positive). Once the plant has fully attached itself you can cut off the string and you will have a plant growing on driftwood/a rock.
