horseshoe crab

Those things get pretty huge... I came across one while on a sailing trip, and I can't imagine something like that in a home-sized aquarium!

they do get absolutly huge, i wouldnt get one unless i have a huge tank, like 500 gallons with rays and sharks because shark tanks often do not have a lot of live rock. they are not considered reef safe because although they wont eat corals, they bulldoze all the rocks and knock everything over, killing your corals.

Horseshoe crabs need ALOT of flat, open space as they burrow into the subtrate, and require a 150 gl aquarium as a minimum for thier adult size.

they look cool. but i don't have big tank for it. i also read they like to eat clams.
