Hose lengths on Eheim canister filter?

:help:There are no clear instructions that came with the 2215 Eheim canister filter. How long do you make the hoses? and where along the line do the quick connects belong?

Exactly, you cut the hoses to suit your tank.

Thanks, I got it set up and running. I left extra hose on the spray bar end in case I decide to change the placement of it.
I started with a one hour 25% water change. Spent 30 minutes trying to decipher the instructions. Then took 15 minutes to rinse all the filter media. Spent another 30 minutes to decide where I wanted to place everything and lay out all the parts. Another 40 minutes for the actual installation, and finally another 20 minutes to add more water (I use a tap water filter starting with cold water then heat to the tank temperature). Wait - I almost forgot then 15 -20 minutes to put everything away. Almost a 4 hour project - Phew!
